Relief print done by hand using a traditional Japanese baren (printmaking tool). These prints are done 100% by hand, on the highest quality Stonehenge printmaking paper. This piece was created in celebration of the City Of Ink 16th Anniversary Show in Atlanta, GA and represents the changing of season and coming back to a new life. The Hawk represents the tenacity of the viewers soul to rise to the challenges and joys of a new time in life, and the cherry blossoms represent the transience of spring’s beauty. I will be doing 9 editions of this print.

There is an option to have a beautiful floating frame made by my local artist and friend Mirage, she did an exquisite job with the original print and it complements the work perfectly.
